Could this be THE (unofficial) social distancing mascot for 2020?

What plant says "Don't touch me" more than a cactus?

What animal says "I don't need you here" more than a cat?

Put those two together and you've got a Catcus - an easy yet adorable project. Not only is this piece easily customizable by changing the colours and/or the basic features but it also makes a perfect gift.

Just think about it - it thrives under ANY lighting conditions and never requires watering or feeding. Stitch them up for your friends, family or anyone that could use a smile. This download comes with the pattern pieces to stitch from felt AND the pattern pieces that have seam allowances added on so you can use scrap fabric.

Using my digital files, you can print your pattern at home or your local copy shop. (Please note that since a digital file is sent almost immediately after payment there can be no refunds on PDF purchases.)

You will need: a sheet of felt, matching colour embroidery floss, a pair of 6mm doll safety eyes (or beads, buttons, etc.), scissors, needle and pins. I describe it as Beginner and recommend it for ages 8 and up.

Finished Catcus measure approx. 5" x 4" (13cm x 10cm).
