This roly-poly bird may be small in size but it can be big in personality! Pose the flippers to create some surprisingly sassy expressions. :D
Recommended for ages 12 and up. The techniques are simple but a few of the steps involve smaller pieces that require a bit of extra patience to assemble.
Confident Beginner
Finished Size: 5" x 3" (13cm x 8cm)
You will need: felt, matching colour embroidery floss, a pair of 6mm doll safety eyes (or beads, buttons, etc.), stuffing, scissors, needle and pins.

Using my digital files, you can print your pattern at home or your local copy shop. (Please note that since a digital file is sent almost immediately after payment there can be no refunds on PDF purchases.)
DOWNLOAD FILES
After you complete your purchase, you will first be emailed a confirmation of purchase, then a few minutes later a second email with a link to your file which you will be able to download up to 3 times. The Penguin Chick pattern comes in two parts:
- Step by step, photo-based instructions (8 pages). The file quality is formatted to be viewed on a screen or printed.
- The sewing pattern (1 page) in letter or A4 format for use on any home printer.
DIRECTIONS FOR PRINTING AT COPYSHOPS
- My copyshop files are copyright protected and can be viewed and printed from a PDF viewer such as Adobe Acrobat or Reader, or Mac Preview.
- The copyshop must print at “no scaling” or 100% scaling to ensure the scale is correct.
